TRONTEQ was founded with the idea of making Ethernet technology accessible to target groups who want to simplify complex processes through innovative networking. This is how our product, the ROQSTAR Ethernet Switch, came into life.

The Ethernet switches of the ROQSTAR product series ensure the networking of IP-based components in vehicles such as public transport buses, trams and suburban trains.

Our focus is entirely on public transport.

We are convinced that we can offer this industry the maximum benefit from the technology through our products. To meet this ambitious goal, we are constantly expanding our product portfolio.

One of our strengths lies in the way we design our value chain. We firmly believe that a great product is only created through and with the customers. To this end, we pass on our technological knowledge on the one hand and rely completely on a vertical business model on the other, in that we develop, produce and distribute all our products independently.

All our business units are located under one roof at our headquarters in Reutlingen, Germany. This allows us, among other things, short-term availability for the majority of our series products and effortless delivery for retrofit projects or new equipment for vehicle fleets.

More than 130 customers from 16 countries use our ROQSTAR Ethernet switches to network and digitise their vehicle fleets.

In this way, they reduce their costs, create added value for their passengers and ensure more attractive public transport. We see this as just the beginning of a great story for the sustainability of urban mobility worldwide.
